2017 = Great Adventures Ahead!
Here it is, nearly an entire month into 2017 and we haven't posted a thing.
Lots of changes since our last post, and here we go....
We traded our pop up camper in for 24 foot Jayco Jay Feather 24T. Big and better change from our pop up! We did this in November, the week of Thanksgiving. We searched and searched for a good floor plan that separated the bedroom, with a door, from the living room. Dennis plays video games in living area and I am in bedroom watching tv and on my computer etc. It's just what we do. And we found it.
But, no matter how many we looked at, the one that we got the best floorplan on was this one that was already 7 years old. Ouch... That idea I wasn't happy about. But it seemed to be in very good condition. We haven't been able to do much camping in it since we got it since the weather turned really cold shortly after and we had to get it winterized. But that's okay, in a few weeks we will get to camp each weekend if we want to.
Forgot to mention, we had to buy a vehicle to pull our trailer. We bought a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 pickup. We got a good deal and we love our truck. And we love our camper. Just hope we don't have lots of repairs to make on either of them anytime soon.
